What is worth writing about

• A file that would not convert, and the format it was in
• A result that looks wrong - wrong octave, dropped notes, a note that should not be there
• Something on the site that is inaccurate or broken
• A privacy question, including about the advertising described in the privacy policy

What this site cannot do for you

• Batch conversion. The tool handles one file at a time and there is no batch mode, so there is nothing to switch on.
• Chord recognition or instrument separation. Those need a trained model. This page tracks one pitch at a time and does not pretend otherwise.
• Cleaning up or repairing your audio. No de-reverb, no de-noise, no mastering.
• Recovering a usable melody from a dense mix. If the detector found nothing, the material is the reason, not a setting.

Before you write

Two things settle most cases. First, this converter tracks one pitch at a time - if your file is a full mix or a chord, it will come back thin or empty, and that is the method working as designed. Second, if a file will not open at all, that is your browser's decoder refusing the format, not this page - WMA is the common case.
